It seems that Henry Rollins has retired entirely from music. Which is fine, because he’s best when there isn’t a big rock band behind him. His spoken word performances, which consist of jokes, political musings, and storytelling are fantastic. And, since it’s Thanksgiving Day, you will obviously be sick of hearing your angry, drunk uncle tell you how liberals are ruining society. Deep Sea Diver is Jessica Dobson, best known as Beck’s Modern Guilt era guitarist. She does bright and energetic indie rock. Wild Belle is the brother/sister duo of Natalie & Elliott Bergman. The only way I could describe them is that they are what would happen if a pair of French hipsters in the 60’s started a reggae band. Together they make a great excuse to go out on a Tuesday night.

Math The Band have been filed under “nerdcore.” They are a super perky synth punk band that are really into video games. They are also part of this new movement where the aggressive bands are also the happiest bands out there, which leads to the joy of a happy mosh.
