The Dirty Projectors, Wye Oak at The Fox Theater – Oakland
When The Dirty Projectors for came onto the scene, they were a “difficult” experimental band. Throughout the the years, however, they’ve managed to hone their craft and evolve into something truly unique and brilliant. In 2009, they released an album called Bitte Orca, which, in my own humble opinion, was the best record of that year. The recently released Swing Lo Magellan manages to exceed it’s predecessor in every way. They are also a killer live band, and this show at The Fox will be amazing.
