This show was originally booked for October of last year. Nik Freitas had just put out a great record of summery pop music, and he was going out to support Elvis Costello’s favorite songwriter, Jenny Lewis. Well, in the meantime, a certain lead guitar player for Jenny Lewis’ band Rilo Kiley decided to break the band up in a magazine. Could make this for a much more interesting set than if it happened in October, or at least we could end up with some Rilo Kiley songs, which would be great to hear solo acoustic.
