w00stock, which amazingly enough, WordPress’ auto-correct seems to not allow me to call by it’s proper identity. (the 00 should be two zeroes) What is it that we are talking about here? A gathering of nerds for an evening of music, comedy, film, and all around geekiness. There are special guests in every town, but all we really need is Paul & Storm to make it awesome. (By the way, good guys, too, that Paul & Storm)

Yes, that performance at the VMA’s was terrible. But, Paramore are one of the most potent live acts out there, and people of all ages will be at this show, because, well, it will be great. Don’t simply take my word for it, just drive to San Jose and enjoy the happiness!

This show was a long time coming, but Kele of Bloc Party’s solo debut is an amazing set of amp’d up dance music that’s a natural progression in the evolving of this brilliant musician.

The Melvins, Totomoshi at Slim’s
Simply put, this is a crazy double header of noisy, grinding goodness by two bands that I consider to be legendary. And, I met Buzz at Slim’s when I was 16 years old, and he gave me a can of pineapple juice. Good man! They also let me watch their sound check, which was awesome.

Hanson, Rocket To The Moon at Great American Music Hall
By far, one of the most underrated and unfairly ridiculed bands in the history of pop music. I will openly admit to loving Hanson. They are one of the few bands that understand how to craft an honest to goodness pop rock song without pretense.
And this is the best Radiohead cover EVER!

These two will be talking about music and playing a little bit, too, in what is destined to be an entertaining and insightful evening.
