The Ferocious Few, Ash Reiter, Go By Ocean at Slim’s
Ash Reiter is a guitar hero. The Ferocious Few are one of the best garage trios in the Bay Area, pounding out fuzzy lo-fi glory. Put them together, and you have one of the best local rock show packages. Ready for a fun filled Thursday night.
Tim & Eric, Dr Steve Brule at The Warfield

Oddball Festival at Shoreline Amphitheater
This bill is crazy. Possibly the best stand up comedy line up you will ever see at anywhere. You have Louis CK, commonly regarded as “The Best.” Sarah Silverman, who just won the Emmy for best variety special and hasn’t been to the Bay Area in a while. Chris Hardwick, riding high off the success of @Midnight. Oakland’s own Moshe Kasher is there, as is Demetri Martin, Marc Maron, Whitney Cummings, and the list just goes on and one. This is the best deal for your comedy dollar. If you don’t go, you”ll be very, very sad.
Il Sognio del Marinaio, LITE, Apogee Sound Club at Bottom Of The Hill
Legendary punk rock icon Mike Watt is stepping out of his comfort zone something seriously with this new project, Il Sognio Marinaio. Putting the funk/punk fusion on the back burner, this one is going to be a trippy experimental jam with sounds coming from places they shouldn’t, and noises you never expected to hear.
Saturday, September 13th & Sunday, September 14th
Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park – Sacramento
On August 31, Live105’s Punk Rock Picnic featuring The Offspring, Pennywise, and Bad Religion was the final concert of the summer at Shoreline Amphitheatre. 6 hours of punk rock capped off with “Smash” performed in its entirety! Although the autumn months just began, we are excited to see The Offspring, Pennywise, and Bad Religion already return to Northern California at Aftershock Festival, alongside Rob Zombie, Rise Against, Mastodon, Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, Tech N9ne, Godsmack, and many more! Aftershock Festival will take place at Discovery Park on September 13 and 14. (Alan Ralph)

There are very few performers on the same level as Rob Zombie. The man has mastered the art of expressing the macabre in a joyful and campy way.
