Daily Lineups for Outside Lands 2022 dropped today! If you are like me and prefer to plan your August in May (No sarcasm there! Making plans months in advance is comforting for me), it’s a great time to figure out what you are doing. And if only one or two days appeal to you, Single Day GA / VIP / Golden Gate Club are on sale tomorrow at 10am!
And, for the most part, it looks like a good spread throughout the event! Friday brings us SZA with Spinning Platters’ faves Phoebe Bridgers, The Marias, Best Coast, DUCKWRTH, Faye Webster, The Beths, and many, many more. Saturday has local legends Green Day playing the park for the first time ever… And surprisingly none of the Green Day-influenced acts on the bill seem to be sharing the day? (I was secretly hoping for a stretch of Best Coast -> Wet Leg -> Weezer -> Phoebe Bridgers -> Green Day) That being said, we still have love for Kali Uchis, Anitta, Empress Of, Robert Glasper, and Michelle. And we might see what that Emo Night thing is all about?
Sunday, however, is the shit. Although I never was a Post Malone fan, to get Weezer, Mitski, 100 gecs, Wet Leg, Pussy Riot, Kim Petras, and Amber Mark all on the same day? I’m definitely calling in sick the next day.
