Everything in the news is scary right now… Texas both making abortions illegal AND ALSO USING A FORM THAT ALLOWS CITIZENS TO “TURN PEOPLE IN” INSTEAD OF, I DON’T KNOW, ACTUAL LAW ENFORCEMENT? The West Coast is pretty much on fire, and we don’t have enough water to live anyways. The entire East Coast is flooding due to Hurricane Ida, creating nearly as much damage as Katrina over a larger footprint. The Taliban is back. COVID is 300% worse than it’s ever been. It’s like, what good is Halloween if everything is hell anyway?
Welp. Our friends at Total Trash Productions have listened and determined that Halloween needs a party rather desperately this year. So they are bringing John Waters, Osees, The Mummies, Seth Bogart, and more to Mosswood Park on October 16th & 17th for a big, outdoor Halloween party. It’s going to be mad fun- there will be a costume contest, two days of rock n roll, food, drinks, and maybe even seeing your friends for the first time in forever. And, if you are always teetering on the brink of a major meltdown, they are working towards making sure this event is a safe as can be! All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear masks at all times between sips and bites. (Please, no biting each other)
