José González has a beautifully tranquil voice. Oddly enough, whether covering The Knife’s hit “Heartbeats,” or mustering a sense of urgency at the climax of his group Junip’s 2013 breakout track, “Line of Fire,” he’s able to lure listeners in with his flawless delivery. The latter has received so much attention that it was recently featured in the teaser trailer for the grand finale of the smash TV series Breaking Bad.
Junip is a Swedish indie-folk band that skews on the side of psychedelic at times. Earlier this year, they released their eponymous sophomore album; it turned into a sleeper hit that’s racked up much acclaim from critics and music lovers alike. They’re currently touring North America in support of the album and making a stop in our area.

Walt… “If you don’t know who you are talking to, I suggest you proceed with caution”
Walter letting Jane die – http://www.amctv.com/breaking-bad/videos/10-baddest-walts-indecision
The look on Walter’s face says it all. His inaction was a horrible sight and example of the depths he would go to save himself, even if he rationalized it by “saving” Jesse. This one inaction irrevocably affected both Jesse and Walt for the entire show to come.
Not sure if the contest is still open, but I’m compelled to try for one of the best bands around and shows of all time!

Thanks again for playing and enjoy the show tomorrow night!
Hi Yoni,
So sorry but the contest did end at 5:00 PM PST. I wanted to be able to give the box office enough notice. We’ll hopefully be doing more of these. 🙂
