Do you know what today is? Today is D-Day. Freedom isn’t to be for granted, especially these days.
Speaking of freedom, let’s talk about concerts. Here’s what we’ve got coming up this week in the Bay Area: tall people, people benefiting other people, and people doing things with the air.
So, let’s preview. Time to preview. It’s time to preview now, and now here are the previews.
Let’s preview now. Preview start. Time to preview the coming week and the time to preview is now. Let’s do it! Preview!

Zakk Sabbath (tribute), Beastmaker at Slim’s, San Francisco
Zakk Sabbath is Zakk Wylde’s pummelling tribute to Black Sabbath. Strap in for huge slabs of expertly-delivered riffs. “War Pigs” has never been more important or prescient.
Nerf Herder, Fartbarf, The Started-Its at the Bottom of the Hill, San Francisco
Big ol’ friendly nerd punk rock. And they are responsible for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer TV show’s theme song. I once saw Parry Gripp, the lead dude of Nerf Herder, play most of a show at Bottom Of The Hill on a sweltering summer evening in a thick parka – for no reason at all other than to do it. He is a visionary.
