25 years ago, Bayside did not have to look very far for the inspiration in choosing their band name. They hail from Bayside, Queens (New York)! 25 years later, they are still actively writing, recording, and touring the world. On this The Errors tour, Bayside put together two setlists containing 44 songs spanning their nine albums and have been performing two nights of shows in every city, including a pair at August Hall.

All twenty-two songs from Night #1 were written and recorded before 2008 and twenty-two different songs from Night #2 were from their other five albums, which span 2011 through 2024.
Old-school Bayside fans would have greatly appreciated the first of the two shows, the one which Spinning Platters had been invited to cover. Why is this important to the elders? Bayside was on storied hardcore and punk record label Victory Records for all of these early albums and the then-younger band had a more punk rock ethos in those earlier days. Not to take anything away from their current releases… the old stuff is just more raw and less polished… which also shows the growth of Bayside over the past quarter-century!
When singer Anthony Raneri asked during the show who would be returning the following night, a good portion of the crowd raised their hands, and so there were definitely some folks that wanted to hear it all!
